Double Duty Denim

Over the past few months , 'denim on denim' has really grown on me. Before I never used to understand how anyone could pair two identical  fabrics together but with the right tips and advice, anyone can strut their stuff in denim.

How to rock the double denim look:

Double Duty Denim : Street Style Trends 2013

-One of the most important things you should know when wearing double denim is that the two items do not have to be the same colour tone. In fact, I think it keeps the look more interesting when lighter denim is paired with a darker wash.

-Mixing different types of clothing can also add sparkle to the outfit. Why not team some dark wash skinny jeans with a plain white top and a vintage distressed denim jacket .

-Widen your options. when wearing denim on denim , don't stick to the standered outfit of skinny jeans and  a shirt. Experiment with different items like denim ankle grazers , skater skirts and pinafores

Have  lovely week guys.
